Granola Bar

I never want to eat something filling before a practice, but I know that I need to have some kind of energy in order to workout for long hours. This DIY no bake granola bar is the perfect pre-workout snack. It's so good that I eat it almost everyday, even when I don't have practice.


  • 2 cups of rolled oats

  • 1 cup of crushed pretzels

  • 1/2 cup of peanut halves

  • 1 cup of peanut butter

  • 1/2 cup of honey

  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla

  • 1/2 cup of crasins

  • Optional: 1/2 cup of chocolate chips


  1. Mix the oats, crushed pretzels, and peanut halves together in a large bowl.

  2. In a different bowl, mix the peanut butter, honey, and vanilla until smooth. Pour the mixture over the dry ingredients in the large bowl and stir until combined.

  3. Put the mixture into a pan (I usually do 9 x 9 but anything works) and freeze for 30 minutes.

  4. Cut into bars and keep them is a freezer (I put them in a plastic bag).
