Vegan Twix Bars

Hi everyone! It’s been a while since I posted, so I want to give you one on my favorite recipes I have tried. I adapted this recipe from Jazmin Tyler. These are vegan, gluten free, and only require a few ingredients. If you decide to ma these (which I highly recommend), tell me in the comments section which layer was your favorite!


Ingredients

LAYER #1: SHORTBREAD COOKIE

  • 2 cup almond flour

  • 4 tbsp maple syrup

  • 1/2 cup coconut oil (melted)

  • 2 tbsp vanilla extract


LAYER #2: PB CARAMEL

  • 1 + 1/3 cup peanut butter

  • 1/2 cup maple syrup

  • 1/2 cup coconut oil (melted)

  • 2 tbsp vanilla extract


LAYER #3: CHOCOLATE FUDGE

  • 1/2 cup cacao powder

  • 1/3 cup maple syrup

  • 1/4 cup coconut oil (melted)

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350. Mix your ingredients for Layer #1. Press the dough into a pan and bake for 20 minutes.

  2. Allow Layer #1 to cool while mixing the ingredients for Layer #2. Pour on top of the shortbread and freeze for 30 minutes.

  3. Mix the ingredients for Layer #3 and pour on top. Freeze for 30 more minutes.
